§ 118-127. Required.

  • (a)

    Building permit required. It shall be unlawful for a person to intentionally or knowingly erect, construct, build, reconstruct or alter a sign without a prior written building permit for such sign from the sign administrator or for such person to maintain a sign so erected, constructed, built, reconstructed or altered without such permit.

    (b)

    Operating permit required. It shall be unlawful for a person to intentionally or knowingly operate, use or maintain a sign without first obtaining a written operating permit for such sign from the sign administrator.
