§ 78-51. Election to participate.

The city council elects to have all employees as defined in V.T.C.A., Government Code § 851.001(8)(A) to participate in the Texas Municipal Retirement System as provided in V.T.C.A., Government Code § 851.001 et seq., and all the benefits and obligations of such system are accepted.
