This article shall apply only to manufactured home parks which were operating in compliance
with this article on December 26, 1997, and to mobile homes, manufactured homes, and
recreational vehicles which were used as residential dwelling units meeting all of
the applicable requirements of this article and the Code on December 26, 1997. Therefore,
references to "manufactured home parks," "manufactured homes," "mobile homes," and
recreational vehicles in this article shall mean and include only those manufactured
home parks, manufactured homes, mobile homes, and recreational vehicles which were
in existence and compliance on December 26, 1997.
