§ 42-178. Fees.

  • (a)

    The fee schedule shall be as follows:

    (1)

    Food or food service establishment permit application types and fees:

    High-risk

    1—9 employees: $300.00
    10+ employees: $500.00

    Medium-risk: $300.00

    Low-risk: $150.00

    Daycare facilities: $100.00
    Food Processing Plant: $500.00

    (2)

    Temporary food establishment permit: $15.00 application fee and $30.00 per day of the event up to 14 days.

    (3)

    Permit renewal late fee: $100.00 for renewal applications received after January 31.

    (4)

    Plans review: $25.00

    (5)

    Mobile food units:

    High-risk: $300.00

    Medium-risk: $250.00

    Low-risk: $100.00

    (b)

    Except as provided in subsection (c) below, no fee shall be charged relating to any food establishment owned and operated by a governmental agency; an institution of purely public charity, or a church; however, such establishments shall comply with all other requirements of this article.

    (c)

    Subsection (b) shall not apply to any food establishment owned and operated by an independent school district or a parochial or private school, as such establishments shall comply with subsection (a) as well as all other requirements of this article.
