§ 34-30. Notice to remove.

If, after the hearing held as provided in section 34-29, the city council determines that a nuisance does exist, it shall issue an order, entered in the minutes of the city council, and shall cause the notice to be served upon the person responsible for the nuisance to remove or abate the nuisance within ten days or within a longer time if set by the city council. If such responsible person fails or refuses to comply with this order, he shall be deemed to have violated this article and upon conviction shall be punished as provided in section 1-14.
