§ 2-547. Powers and duties.

The board of adjustment shall exercise the powers and shall be required to:

(1)

Hear and decide appeals where it is alleged that there is an error in any order or decision by city officials in the administration and enforcement of the Unified Land Development Code;

(2)

Hear and decide appeals of any interpretation of the text of the zoning regulations contained in the Unified Land Development Code made by the director of planning and development services;

(3)

Hear and decide requests for zoning variances from the terms of the Unified Land Development Code pursuant to the procedures and standards set forth therein; and

(4)

Hear and decide other matters as authorized by the Unified Land Development Code.
