§ 18-815. Issuance; transferability; expiration and renewal.

The city clerk shall examine the application for the license required under this division and the certificate of insurance required in section 18-814. If he is satisfied that the application and certificate of insurance are in order and that the insurance carrier is good and sufficient, he shall issue to the applicant a license to engage in the business of house moving in the city. Such license shall be personal to the licensee, shall not be transferable and shall expire at 12:00 midnight the following December 31. Upon expiration, a license may be renewed upon filing an application, license fee and a new certificate of insurance as for an original license.
