The chief building official shall review and approve electrical plans and permits
and inspect all electrical wiring, apparatus or equipment for the utilization of the
service of the electric public service company or any other source in providing electrical
energy for lights, heat or power inside of or attached to buildings or other structures
within the city limits and to enforce laws, rules and regulations relating to such.
