§ 18-157. Liability for damages.

This article shall not be construed to affect the responsibility or liability of any party owning, operating, controlling or installing any electrical equipment for damages to persons or property caused by any defect therein, nor shall the city be held as assuming any such liability because of the inspection or reinspection authorized in this article or the certificate of approval issued as provided in this article or because of the approval or disapproval of any equipment authorized in this article.
